Nature Soup! with Maureen Stine
Join us as we welcome Natureologist Maureen Stine, Certified Environmental Educator-Professional, to our Studio!
Children will engage in multi-sensory, hands-on nature explorations using art to instill messages on Michigan's native trees and wildlife. Using all available senses, Maureen shares activities in touch, sound, sight and smell to share how to identify Michigan's flora and fauna and basic lessons in how animals move, eat, live among us. We engage in several make-and-take arts and
crafts with a nature theme. Children leave with a tree cookie necklace, one plaster animal track, and a powder-painted lead-free fishing jig.
This program will be offered on two different dates, allowing guests to choose a day that best fits their schedule! The content will remain the same for each, students only need to sign up for a single session.
